TRASHed Art
I choose to paint an Aztec rain god for the Coachella TRASHed Art initiative because I believe water is the most precious commodity to humans and we can not live without it, and Coachella would not function without water to keep it running and keep all the musicians, festival and concert goers hydrated, as well.
TRASHed
The Aztec rain god was important to the Aztecs and the culture because water meant life or death for humans, plants and animals, something that still rings true for us today.
I want to honor Coachella by painting my interpretation of a rain god on the recycling bin for the 2018 Coachella festival, with the hope that people may understand how important water is to us.
Thank you.
