"El Día de los Muertos"

"El Día de los Muertos" or "Day of the Dead" plays an important part in Mexican history and culture. We believe we never forget those who passed away and we keep them in memory in many ways, from setting up alters, leaving out food, or in my case, I draw Death to honor their departure. This year we have to honor many important people that have passed away, but I assure you, their soul and spirit will never be forgotten.



Again, this time of year is important for me because it allows me to remember my departed ancestors and family members.



These are photos I took of my art and designs that I created on various mediums. Of course, the Halloween photo was taken in my kitchen. Enjoy.
